Boston Pedicab wanted to get a leg up on the tourist market in Boston. Their product – amazing pedicab rides and tours – was unrivaled as entertainment, yet they were often shut out of the market because people were unclear on where pedicabs go in the city, how they work and how much they can offer.
Scorpio Creative saw that tourists and visitors in the city tended to cling to maps. Even though we live in a digital world, paper maps seemed to be the thing tourists want.
So we we-thought how maps can work and designed a street map that shows how full of sights and ideas Boston can be. Rather than a passive list of markers, the map hints at how Boston can be whatever you want it to be – and pedicabs are the way to bring it all together.
The piece is wildly popular with a circulation of over 20,000 annually in the city.
